The closing ceremony of Awareness LAB SME (ALARM) Information Security – Awareness Labor KMU (ALARM) Informationssicherheit took place at the Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau on June 23, 2023. VEINLAND had played an active role throughout this project by simulating learning scenarios with its employees and trying out tailgating – a scenario where someone impersonated an employee with similar appearance and entered a secured premise, one of the standard methods for cyber attacks.
Various project outcomes have been presented by participants of the closing event and tips and recommendations have been shared and discussed among all participants. VEINLAND thanked Prof. Dr. Margit Scholl, head of the Information Security research group for the opportunity to be part of this project and also the entire research group for helpful and practical tips and suggestions for improvement in this matter.
