The annual reception of the BVMW Berlin-Brandenburg took place in the Schinkelhalle, Potsdam last Wednesday. More than 200 guests from politics, business, and culture were present at the event, including Brandenburg’s Minister of Economic Affairs, Professor Dr. Jörg Steinbach. “MOMENTUM – Initiative-Enthusiasm-Conviction – SMEs – Engine and Future of the German Economy” was the motto for this year.

VEINLAND was one of the main sponsors for this event. Gerald Rynkowski, the founder and managing director of VEINLAND GmbH, delivered an important keynote speech addressing the framework conditions for SMEs, administrative issues and digitalization. It was followed by a panel discussion focussing on political decisions, the role of the economy, the importance of subsidies, challenges in the education system and tax burden on companies. The day ended with a networking session in the historical building “Schinkelhalle”.
