From time to time, we have the opportunity to put our engineering skills to the test and collaborate with leading research institutions in Germany, such as Universität Rostock and Technische Universität Berlin. Together, we develop innovative concepts like the DigitalSOW.
Under the main theme “Joint Project DigitalSOW – Digital Test Field for Automated and Autonomous Inland Navigation on the Spree-Oder Waterway,” the project aimed to establish and operate a digital test environment. The focus was on researching, developing, and testing concepts, algorithms, and technologies for automated and connected navigation in urban areas—such as Berlin and other major European cities.
Advancing smart mobility on waterways is a key step toward the future of sustainable and efficient urban transportation!
