Together with the University of Rostock, we have the opportunity to further develop the Warnowstromer – a ferry operating daily between Rostock and Gehlsdorf – into a future-ready vessel.
In close collaboration with the Chair of Automation Engineering at the University of Rostock, the ferry is being systematically developed toward autonomous operation.
The goal is to enable the Warnowstromer to operate autonomously in the future by integrating advanced assistance systems and intelligent control solutions.
Through projects such as A-SWARM 1+2 and DIGI SOW, we have already gained valuable experience in retrofitting and integrating new technologies, which now directly contributes to this project.
Together with the University of Rostock, we are working to meet the requirements of the client – Rostocker Straßenbahn AG.
