Today, on August 25, 2026, VEINLAND will celebrate its 20th anniversary. We look back on two decades filled with innovation, growth, and ideas, and with them, numerous milestones.
Our company’s history began even before its founding on August 25, 2006. Our founder and CEO, Gerald Rynkowski, asked himself: What should a company be called that wants to operate internationally and not limit itself to a single industry? VEINLAND!
That’s when the real story began. Hardware and software for maritime applications kicked things off. In 2008, VEINLAND received ISO 9001:2008 certification and exhibited for the first time at the SMM in Hamburg. This was followed by further product developments, certifications, expansions, the expansion of manufacturing capabilities, and much more. The company grew, and so did its portfolio of technological solutions.
But VEINLAND wouldn’t be VEINLAND if we weren’t constantly searching new ways. The industrial sector has continued to expand, and through acquisitions, our portfolio has grown even broader. More and more areas of expertise, and thus even more solutions, are now part of our company.
In addition, our journey has been marked by awards such as the Brandenburg Future Prize, the Grand Prize for Medium-Sized Businesses, and this year, for the fourth time, the “Employer of the Future” award.
Today, WE stand for 20 years of experience, innovation, and a company that always has a solution. Our CEO always says, “You don’t hear from us, you don’t see us, but we’re at home on all the seas.” And that’s exactly how it will stay. Because despite many changes, one thing has always remained the same: our commitment to creating our own solutions and finding new approaches and ideas.
Our anniversary is therefore not only an occasion to look back, but also a reason to look ahead.
