The “460 Gateway” is currently VEINLAND’s most innovative and powerful solution to replace its previous model “VL-Gateway 460”, in order to meet the constantly changing new standards and market demand.
This newly developed product fulfills and is in compliance with all current and future standards, enhances VEINLAND’s product portfolio in the field of HW + SW technology and is open to further possible fields of application.
The gateway meets all the requirements of IEC 60945 standard for use on ship bridges. Besides having a new compact design, the number of connections has also been increased. This expands the range of applications and brings about benefits in terms of energy efficiency in vessel operations. The case has a transparent passivated surface and could also be supplied in customer-specific colours.
The “460 Gateway” is DNV GL type-approved based on the IEC 61162-460 Safety and Security standard. This certification is accepted at the same level as a Cyber Secure Type Approval Certificate according to IEC 62443-3-3 / DNVGL-CP-0231 (2020-03).
Comprehensive inspection is done annually by the certified bodies to ensure that all customers receive continuous maintenance and stay compliant with the latest standards and regulations.
