A total of six VEINLAND employees took part recently in a training course to become movement and exercise coaches at IKK Brandenburg and Berlin in Potsdam. The training session was led by Mr Thomas Jannek, Prevention & Internal Company Health Management Department and was part of the measures to further develop workplace health promotion (BGF) at VEINLAND. To begin with, the participants were taught about the importance of exercise in everyday life and the structure and important function of the spine. The theory session was interactive and the participants were actively involved and were able to engage intensively throughout the session.

The afternoon session focussed on the goals and requirements of a movement coach and the one-day-training serves as a comprehensive concept for all participants and gave a deep insight into the role and responsibilities of a movement coach.

The training was informative and well-structured. There was a very good and relaxed atmosphere, which made learning easier and increased the motivation of the participants. A big thank you goes to IKK Brandenburg and Berlin for organising this event. VEINLAND is delighted that the employees are now able to apply the knowledge and exercises they have acquired as fitness coaches in the company and thus contribute to workplace health promotion.
