On May 13, we had the pleasure of attending the 50th anniversary of the Der Mittelstand. BVMW Berlin-Brandenburg business region at Schinkelhalle Potsdam. Together with Christoph Niendorf and Carsten Buschina, we joined a day full of insights under the theme “Resilience in the Economy.”
Leaders from business, politics, and academia gathered to discuss the challenges facing German SMEs – from energy costs and digitalization. It became clear: SMEs are not only the economic backbone, but also a key source of stability in uncertain times.
As shared in our previous post, our Director Gerald Rynkowski participated in a panel on skilled labor availability – a topic that remained central throughout the day.
A highlight of the event was the passionate message from Birgit Derwanz-Dahlmann: “SMEs not only create jobs but are a pillar of social and economic cohesion.”
Many thanks to BVMW for the invitation and the valuable exchange – we are proud to be part of this strong and future-oriented network.
