VL-TWC – True Wind Converter
The True Wind Converter, based on NMEA matrix 5NMEAto1-E, calculates the true wind
information ($–MWD) from different input data. The following
data from the NMEA sentences are used: $–VTG,
$–MWV, $–HDT or $–HDG. The NMEA inputs are
galvanically isolated from the RS422 outputs.
